THE STORY BEHIND LOWEN’S

Lowen’s Skincare began the way many meaningful brands do: with a real problem and a parent who refused to settle.

When our daughter, Lowen, struggled with persistent diaper rash, we tried everything the market had to offer. Nothing worked. As a practicing pharmacist with years of clinical and compounding experience, I knew the issue wasn’t a lack of products, it was a lack of thoughtful formulation.

So I went to fundamentals.

Using evidence-based research and pharmaceutical compounding principles, I developed a simple, unrefined balm using locally sourced and/or unrefined ingredients, that preserved the original "magic" of the parent plant.

Within days, Lowen’s rash cleared.

With continued use, it never returned.

That moment reshaped everything.

What started as a solution for our family became a mission to create skincare that prioritizes safety, transparency, and performance. From our flagship diaper balm, we expanded thoughtfully into a full line of skincare products, each pharmacist formulated, intentionally minimal, and designed to work with the skin rather than against it.

Today, Lowen’s remains family owned and operated. We are hands-on in every stage, from ingredient sourcing to formulation and production. Our entire product line is EWG Verified® and a PETA Certified Cruelty-Free company, reflecting our commitment to both people and the planet.

Lowen’s isn’t about trends or shortcuts. It’s about doing things properly, because when it comes to skin, especially sensitive skin, details matter.
