Back in 2010, we forced these lip balms on our guests at a Christmas party. We called them “candy cane” for the occasion. The presentation wasn’t… Well, it was sad lol. Eagerly presented in a mug full of unlabeled tubes. Filled with our off-yellow, waxy substance.

I told em to speak not and pucker up! Once they realized I wasn’t joking… Testing began & I won them over. Now we offer 17 lip balm flavours. Dang we love lip balms!

Why Sets Lowen's Peppermint Pouty Lip Balm Above the Rest?

Introducing our very first lip balm flavour - Peppermint Pouty! Back in 2010, we unveiled it at our Christmas Party under the name "Candy Cane". Admittedly, the presentation wasn't my best work - offering unlabelled tubes of off-yellow wax in a mug. But once people realized we were serious and gave it a try...BAM! A winner was born (I'll accept your thanks). We're confident that this is the ultimate minty lip balm out there! Just a side note: a few people mistook them for off-coloured peppermint sticks and tried to eat them (mostly the kids).

Lowen’s Lip Balm Story

Our lip balms originated from a failed experiment while creating a natural diaper balm. After many attempts, it ended up being a successful lip balm that was accidentally discovered by my wife during a late-night feeding. From there, our line of unique, naturally flavoured lip balms was born.

Ingredients: Beeswax, Cetyl Alcohol, Menthol, Certified Organic Cold Pressed Non-GMO Canola Oil, Rosemary Oil, Safflower Oleosomes, Vegetable Glycerin, Vegetable Hyaluronic Acid, Certified Organic Fair-Trade Shea Butter, Peppermint Essential Oil.

Our lip balm’s performance will vary in extreme heat. If storage temperatures exceed 40°C or 104°F your lip balm will soften and sweat out the oil components. Higher temperatures will cause the contents to liquefy. For the best results, please leave your lip balm in a cool place!
