Extremely light- yet incredibly effective. This shampoo helps to replenish using unrefined, cold-pressed, locally-sourced: hemp seed oil. For extra conditioning, weโve added pro-vitamin B5 (AKA panthenol.) As well as oat oil. An ingredient known to help with itchy, dry scalp

Shampoo is Betta! is our fully biodegradable, natural, vegan, sodium laurel sulfate and phthalate-free, coconut-based cleanser. Extremely gentle on hair and skin, while remaining incredibly effective. Cleanses hair and replenishes with active hydrating, unrefined, cold pressed, locally-sourced organic canola oil. For extra conditioning power, weโve added in pro-vitamin B5 (AKA panthenol) as well as oat oil, providing exceptional activity in preventing itchiness and dryness (which leads to dandruff โ especially during winter months).
Indeed, we have created Shampoo is Betta! for all types of hair. Rest assured, extra care was taken to ensure itโs gentle enough for even sensitive skin types.
DIRECTIONS:
dish-out enough shampoo to coat hair thoroughly. It should foam up nicely but if it doesnโt. Add a little more โtill it does โ if this doesnโt work then you might want to rinse and repeat.

This shampoo is different and awesome. Itโs not like the regular shampoo you might be used to. I like that itโs vegan, doesnโt dry my hair, doesnโt irritate my scalp, and feels nice on the scalp.
Iโve had a rough year: a lot of stress, which led to a lot of hair shedding and inflammation on my scalp which triggered my seborrheic dermatitis. Iโve tried so many products, both what the doctors prescribed to me and a few EWG-rated shampoos, and I would still get some irritation on my scalp or the hair shedding continued at a larger rate. Iโm happy that this shampoo has been helping me during my rejuvenating journey of my scalp by helping eliminate dandruff, not irritating the scalp, and my hair does look healthier. Itโs going to be a process to get back to how my scalp and hair was before but this has contributed to my good progress overall. Thank you so much for creating this clean shampoo!

I love this shampoo! I am sensitive to scents and this has a very light and pleasant peppermint scent that only lasts until you rinse. It lathers nicely and my hair feels soft all day long. I didnโt know it was good for dandruff, and Iโve been using a dandruff shampoo every other day. So I will quit that one for a few days and see how it goes. Iโll update my review with the results if I can.

I love this shampoo, it is so luxurious. I purchased the small travel size as I was not sure about trying ~another~ gentle and good for your skin shampoo. I was pleasantly surprised. I have fine, baby hair so anything will weight it down or do the opposite and make it flyaway. I guess because of the conditioning of this shampoo it makes my hair shiny, feeling so refreshed and clean โ and bouncy! As well, my winter scalp itchiness is a total non-issue. Quite simply, the best shampoo (eco, artisanal, or mass produced) on the market today. This shampoo is thicker than most, which helps to ensure that you only get the desired amount rather, and the scent is absolutely delightful โ a mild, but not overpowering, coconut smell (think of a toned-down version of Nexxus). It incorporates into the hair easily, suds up very well, and rinses away thoroughly without any feeling of residue.
Most of the above, one can get with another shampoo. But, what really sets this product apart is its post-shower presence. Once dry, my hair has none of the astringent effects (feeling of dry, tight scalp, flakes, brittle-feeling hair, etc.) that almost every other shampoo I have used causes. Additionally, this shampooโs cleanliness stays with me the entire day. My hair and scalp is not greasy by late-afternoon, and I never feel like I need another scrub before heading out for the evening. Combine all this with an EWG certification, and youโve got the best shampoo available today.
