From experience in using Shampoo is Betta! (or any shampoo for that matter), getting the suds in your eyes isn't a fun experience. So I wouldn't be comfortable in making a "tear free" claim but to put things in perspective, relative to the J&J No More Tears (which makes me tear), I think it is less irritating. Not sure if this helps.
Thanks for your question!
Does this product (and conditioner) work well for curly hair?
Q Does this product (and conditioner) work well for curly hair? answer nowAsked on December 8, 2019 5:11 PMA
Thank you for your question.
Shampoo is Betta! works really well on curly hair. My wife has curly very curly hair so she was our first test subject. I basically developed it for her and my girl's needs. You may be able to get away without using conditioner after use as I and my girls are able to but my wife does use Conditioner is Betta! to tame things a little more. Depending on how your hair behaves, you can add extra water to Conditioner is Betta! so that the end result is less "heavy" on the conditioning side of things.
Hope this helps.
Can I use this on color treated hair? I dye my hair red, a very difficult color to keep, and when a product doesn't say it's color-safe, it usually isn't. Is yours?

Hi there "Tink"
Thank you for your question - this one has come up before and the answer isn't black and white unfortunately. As far as the cleansers go, they are incredibly gentle and non toxic - that, in and of itself, doesn't mean that it won't mess with your color.
My advice is if you've had your color professionally done and they guarantee it if you use a defined set of hair care products, I wouldn't recommend it. That said, we have had heaps of people who have colored hair use both our shampoo and conditioner without incident (and with incredibly clean, smooth, well-cared-for hair).
I hope my answer helps guide your decision.
Is this shampoo pH balanced?
Q Is this shampoo pH balanced? answer nowAsked on January 29, 2018 9:54 PMA
Thank you for your question.
Before I answer, I need to make some assumptions. When you say "pH balanced," I'm assuming that balanced means that you are asking whether our shampoo has a pH similar to that of the typical scalp.
If we assume that the pH of the scalp has a slightly acidic pH ranging from 4.5-5.5, our Shampoo is Betta has a pH of 4.65 based upon using tap water as the control for calibration (pH =7). That said, Shampoo is Betta! should not alter the pH of your scalp and this combined with the fact that it is not a leave on product (vs perhaps a detangler that has a pH of 7 or 8 for instance).
Hope this answers your question.
